Starting SoonEVENING Lap Swim or Water Walking (Shallow or Deep) - Pay as you goLap SwimAges 18+ Swim laps at your own pace or walk in the shallow end of the lap pool, space permitting for water walking. Equipment is available for use including kickboards, pull buoys and fins. Exercise belts are available for deep water exercise in the diving well at Century Middle School. Pool water temperature is 80-82 degrees. Locker rooms and showers are available. There is no ramp or stairs at the CMS Pool, however, there is a lift, if needed to get into and out of the pool. Please notify katey.radant@isd194.org in advance if you will need to use the lift. All EVENING lap swims are held at Blanchard Aquatic Center at Century Middle School. Elementary**Note all grades are based on the upcoming school year. Recreational Kindercats - Grade K This class is designed for current kindergartners ready to explore the basics of cheerleading! Athletes will learn foundational skills like motions, jumps, dance, and crowd-leading techniques. Throughout the season, we'll focus on practicing sideline cheers and work together to prepare a mini routine for the Lakeville Invite in October. It's a fun and supportive environment for young cheerleaders to develop confidence, coordination, and teamwork, all while having a great time! Red Squad - Grades 1-2 This is one of our youngest recreational squads, designed for athletes in grades 1st and 2nd. The squad aims to introduce the basics of competitive cheerleading while preparing athletes for future opportunities on our Elementary Competitive teams. Cheerleaders will focus on age-appropriate skills such as jumps, stunts, and tumbling. Throughout the season, the squad will perform as an exhibition team at 3-5 events, offering a fun and supportive introduction to competition. Strong attendance is key to ensuring the success of each cheerleader and the team as a whole. This is a great opportunity for young athletes to develop foundational cheerleading skills in a positive, team-oriented environment! White Squad - Grades 2-3 Our older recreational squad is designed to introduce the fundamentals of cheerleading while also preparing athletes for our Elementary Competitive teams. Athletes will work on key skills required for a traditional competition routine, including jumps, stunts, and tumbling, all at a more manageable commitment level. Throughout the season, cheerleaders will perform as an exhibition team at 3-4 events. Strong attendance is crucial for both individual and team success! **Note: 2nd graders who do not place on an Elementary Competitive team may have an opportunity to be placed on this squad. Black Squad - Grades 4-6 Join the BLACK SQUAD — our most advanced recreational elementary cheer team for athletes in grades 4–6! This squad bridges the gap between beginner-level cheer and our Elementary Competitive teams. It’s the perfect place for athletes ready to level up their skills without the full commitment of competition cheer. Designed to build confidence and technique, this team will focus on foundational elements of a traditional cheer routine, including: Jumps Tumbling (beginner/intermediate) Stunting basics Team synchronization and formations While competitive in spirit, Black Squad remains recreational in structure — with a lighter practice and event schedule — making it ideal for athletes eager to improve in a supportive environment. Performances: Black Squad will showcase their progress at 3–4 local exhibitions throughout the season. These fun, low-pressure events allow athletes to perform in front of an audience and celebrate their growth as a team. Note: Strong attendance is key to team success! Consistent practice participation helps athletes build trust, timing, and skills together. Competition Elementary Comp (LVE) - Grades 2-6* This is our beginner competition squad that is designed to help prepare athletes for the Elementary Advanced and Middle School level and will require very strong commitment & dedication. Athletes will be working on skills required for a traditional competition routine including jumps, stunts, and tumbling at the level that keeps us competitive within the state. Members on this squad should have 1-2 years of experience on a previous team such as Red, White or Black, however experience is not required. Tryout requirements must be met for placement. *2nd graders with a backwalkover will be eligible to try out for placement. Note this does not guarantee placement Elementary Advanced Comp (LVA) - Grades 2-6* This squad is designed to help prepare athletes for the Middle School level and will require very strong commitment & dedication. Athletes will be working on skills required for a traditional competition routine including jumps, stunts, and tumbling at the level that keeps us competitive within the state. Members on this squad should have 1-2 years of experience on a previous squad such as Red, White, Black, or LVE and as well meet minimum skills/scores at tryouts. *2nd graders with a backwalkover will be eligible to try out for placement. Extreme Robotics: Robo-Beast & Monster MachinesSummer Camps, K-8Grades 3-6 (Fall 2026) Students will begin by building robotic beasts and monster machines such as a robo-dog, mega-gorilla, insectoid bot, and the scorpion warrior. Once their robots are built, they’ll dive into programming to make them move, attack or even think on their own.
