Ages 5 and up In these lessons students will work one on one with a Community Education gymnastics coach. This is a great opportunity for your gymnast to practice specific skills or events they need extra help with in hopes to get them one step closer to moving up! If available, bring your past session’s testing sheet, so the coach has a foundation of where to begin the first class. If your gymnast is new, that’s okay! The coach will perform an evaluation for the first class.

Ages: 0-5 years Connect, play, and celebrate the season together with pumpkins, crunchy leaves, and turkeys through hands-on activities, music, movement, and sensory play. Families will enjoy pumpkin expiration, fall themed crafts, create pinecone turkeys, and a festive story time—all led by a licensed early childhood educator.

Ages 8-10 Learn information to make sure you're comfortable and safe when staying home alone, whether for five minutes or a couple of hours. Does your child know what to do in case of a fire? If there is a stranger at the door? How to use the Internet safely? If they get hungry and want a snack? Our Home Alone class will provide many necessary tools so your child is well-equipped to stay home without an adult. Rent the Safe Kids 101 DVD for your child or group! This class is self led. Each student will receive a workbook to keep. Pick up of DVD and workbooks at the Community Education Offices, 17685 Juniper Path, Suite 200, Lakeville, MN 55044. Once the DVD is returned to our office you will get $10 credited back to your original form of payment. Contact katey.radant@isd194.org in advance if you need this DVD on a specific date or if you have more than one student. Workbooks are $10 a student, DVD rental is $20 with $10 credited back to you once the DVD is returned. *You must have a DVD Player to play the DVD for this course.

Grades K-5 Come learn Spanish with Language Sprout. This elementary-focused, immersive program will get your child speaking fast. Our classes combine theme based and grammar lessons with hands-on learning to meet your child at their right level. Class includes a parent portal for continued learning at home. The program fees include a workbook and materials. This program meets twice per week throughout the school year to give students the best experience in second language acquisition. Note: students will be charged for any lost materials that need to be replaced. Instructor: Language Sprout Please keep in mind we need at least 13 people to run a class, and being that this is a year long commitment we like to open registration as early as we can. We typically decide if a class will run or if we have to cancel 2 weeks before the class start date, so please don’t wait too long to register. ** If we get enough interest at another location we may consider adding a class at another elementary school, however, if a class is not offered at your child’s “home” school, they are welcome to attend at another location, however, transportation is the parents responsibility. Remaining 5 payments due on the 5th of each month, Nov-March. Try the class for 2 weeks (4 class dates) and if you don’t think it is a good fit after that you will only be charged the $25 registration fee.
