Mat Rats 2 | Ages 5-13Mat Rats 2 is designed as the next progression after Mat Rats 1, providing gymnasts with opportunities to build on foundational skills and develop more advanced techniques. In this class, athletes will work on beam skills such as back walkovers, dismounts, and jump connections. On floor, our experienced coaches will guide students through more complex tumbling, including round-off back handsprings and front tucks. Students will also develop vault skills by learning to vault over the table and expand their abilities on bars, working on kips and jumping to the high bar. To ensure the best placement for each gymnast, coach approval is strongly recommended before enrolling in Mat Rats 2.
