Intro to KarateKarateAges 7 - Adult Want to try out Karate? This Intro to Karate class is structured for students with little to no martial arts experience. You can try out karate in a low pressure environment, learn the basics, and find out if you like it or not. In August, students will take an evaluation to find out if they have earned their next rank. If you decide to keep training after that, you can sign up again in September for the Beginner class and continue progressing. We welcome families who want to train together. There aren't many activities that parents and their children can do together. You don't need to stay on the sidelines for this class! Registration includes classes June-August and a white belt. Grades: 7th - 12th Grade (2026-2027 school year) This season, we’re excited to announce the addition of GAME DAY to our program! We can’t wait to get started and see all the energy this brings to our teams. The information below applies to the Junior Varsity Team, which will participate in both Game Day and Traditional. Cost Estimate: $2,160 (includes Comp & Sideline fees) Fundraising opportunities provided throughout the season. *Please note that we can not issue refunds due to fundraising. If you opt to pay in full at registration, any $ fundraised will only go towards Booster Fees and not Registration Fees. Team Goals for the 2026-2027 Season: Tryout Tips: Learning ALL material and ability to perform it at tryouts is a must for team placement (this will help us determine if athletes are ready for this level). We are looking for hard hitting motions, good technique, and loud voices, but one of the most important things is a positive attitude and willingness to work hard and never give up! Practice makes perfect! If you make a mistake keep going and smile through it! Please Note: for this team to be successful there is a high level of commitment needed from the athlete and family. Please make sure you consider this before trying out for this team. Competitive Season: May 12 - Early February Practice: Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:30-7:30 pm At this level we are looking for soft skills such as: strong communication skills, excellent leadership in the program, positive attitude, strong work ethic in and out of practice, and the ability to work well with others. Cheerleaders are expected to practice individual skills and routine counts on their own outside of practice. 1-2 years of cheerleading experience or equivalent level training is preferred.
