Band Camp for Woodwinds (Group Band Lessons)

For 5th Graders Only (26-27 school year)

*Please note: Band Camp will take place at Century Middle School.

Woodwind instruments include Flute, Clarinet, Saxophone & Oboe. Lakeville Area Community Education is collaborating with the elementary and middle school band teachers to offer group band lessons this summer. Students will receive an introduction to their band instrument and the fundamentals of playing. This class is great preparation for the fall school band program. Depending upon the number of students in the groups, instrument groups may be split up.

During the registration process, you will be asked to indicate the instrument you are playing, as well as if you or the school owns it, or if you are renting it from a company. *If you are renting from a music company we will need to know which company. This is so the instructors can have your instrument ready for you on the first day. If you have questions about getting an instrument, please talk to your child's elementary school band teacher.
